शिवविहारवर्णनम् (Śivavihāra-varṇana) — “Description of Śiva’s Divine Pastimes/Sojourn”

ああ、牟尼の中の主よ。そこでは三天の住人たちの間に悲嘆のどよめきが起こり、シヴァを讃える讃歌と交じり合った。彼らが苦しむ阿修羅たちの窮状を目の当たりにしたからである。

It shows that in times of cosmic disturbance, even the devas turn inward to Shiva-stuti—affirming Shiva (Pati) as the ultimate refuge who transcends the turmoil of pashu (beings) bound by pasha (affliction).
The verse emphasizes Shiva-saṃstuti as immediate support during crisis; in Shaiva practice this is embodied through Saguna worship—especially Linga-pūjā—where devotees approach Shiva with praise, surrender, and prayer for protection and right order (dharma).
A practical takeaway is to perform Shiva-stuti/japa—especially the Panchakshara mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—as a stabilizing sadhana when fear or upheaval arises, optionally supported by Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrāksha as Shaiva disciplines.
