आ यः पप्रौ भानुना रोदसी उभे धूमेन धावते दिवि । तिरस्तमो ददृश ऊर्म्यास्वा श्यावास्वरुषो वृषा श्यावा अरुषो वृषा ॥

ā yáḥ papráu bhānúnā ródasī ubhé dhūména dhāvate diví | tirás támo dadṛśa ū́rmyāsv ā́ śyā́vāsv aruṣó vṛ́ṣā ā́ śyā́vā aruṣó vṛ́ṣā ||

その光輝によって天と地の両界を満たし、煙をまとって天に疾走する者——彼は闇を越えて見られる。うねる波のうち、黒き流れのうちに、赤き牡牛が現れる。黒き中にあっても、赤き牡牛。
