सकृद्ध द्यौरजायत सकृद्भूमिरजायत । पृश्न्या दुग्धं सकृत्पयस्तदन्यो नानु जायते ॥
Transliteration
sakṛ́d dha dyáur ajāyata sakṛ́d bhū́mir ajāyata | pṛ́śnyā dugdháṃ sakṛ́t páyas tád anyó nā́nu jāyate ||
Translation
ただ一度、天は生まれ、ただ一度、地は生まれた。プルシュニー（Pṛśnī）からもただ一度、養う乳が搾り出された。その原初の産出は、ほかのものとして再び生じることはない――それは唯一の創成の基として立つ。
