प्र ये जाता महिना ये च नु स्वयं प्र विद्मना ब्रुवत एवयामरुत् । क्रत्वा तद्वो मरुतो नाधृषे शवो दाना मह्ना तदेषामधृष्टासो नाद्रयः ॥
Transliteration
prá ye jātā́ mahínā ye ca nú svayáṃ prá vidmánā brúvata evayā́marut | krátvā tád vo maruto nā́dhṛṣe śávo dānā́ mahnā́ tád eṣām ádhṛṣṭāso nā́drayaḥ ||
Translation
前へ進むのは、偉大のうちに生まれし者たち；そして今もまた、自らの知（vidmanā）によってそれを宣言する――おおマルトよ。意志（kratu）によって、それは汝らの抗しがたき神威；施与の大いなることによって、それは彼らの本性――侵されず、堅き石のごとく立つ。
