सम्राजावस्य भुवनस्य राजथो मित्रावरुणा विदथे स्वर्दृशा । वृष्टिं वां राधो अमृतत्वमीमहे द्यावापृथिवी वि चरन्ति तन्यवः ॥

sam-rājā́v asyá bhúvanasya rājatho mitrā́varuṇā vidáthe svàr-dṛśā́ | vṛṣṭíṃ vāṃ rā́dho amṛta-tvám īmahe dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ ví caranti tanyávaḥ ||

共なる王としてこの世界を治めたまう、ミトラよヴァルナよ。祭儀の集い(vidatha)において、天の光を眼として見そなわす。われらは汝らに、雨と、満ちる施し(rādhas)と、不死(amṛtatva)とを乞い願う。天と地とは、雷の力をもって広くめぐり動く。
