तन्नो अनर्वा सविता वरूथं तत्सिन्धव इषयन्तो अनु ग्मन् । उप यद्वोचे अध्वरस्य होता रायः स्याम पतयो वाजरत्नाः ॥
Transliteration
tán no anarvā́ savitā́ varū́thaṃ tát síndhava iṣáyanto ánu gman | úpa yád vóce adhvarásya hótā rāyáḥ syāma pátayo vā́jaratnāḥ ||
Translation
過たずのサヴィトリ（Savitṛ）が、われらに護りの避難所となりますように。衝き動く衝動をもつ諸河が、その後に従い進みますように。祭式において、わたし――供犠のホートリ（hotṛ）――が近く言葉を発するとき、われらが霊的充溢と力の宝（vāja-ratna）の主となりますように。
