Transliteration
evā́ hí tvām ṛtuthā́ yātáyantaṃ maghā́ víprebhyo dádhataṃ śṛṇómi | kíṃ te bráhmāṇo gṛháte sákhāyo yé tvāyā́ ní-dadhuḥ kā́mam indra ||
Translation
まことに我は聞く、インドラよ――汝はṛtu（正しき時節・秩序）に従い、しかるべき度量にて促され進み、豊かな贈与をヴィプラ（聖見者）らに授け給うと。されど、brahman（聖なる言葉）を支える同伴の友らは、何ゆえ汝を抑えんとするのか――汝に欲求を課し、要求として据えたその友らは。
