まことに我は聞く、インドラよ――汝はṛtu(正しき時節・秩序)に従い、しかるべき度量にて促され進み、豊かな贈与をヴィプラ(聖見者)らに授け給うと。されど、brahman(聖なる言葉)を支える同伴の友らは、何ゆえ汝を抑えんとするのか――汝に欲求を課し、要求として据えたその友らは。
