Sukta 2.2
दा नो अग्ने बृहतो दाः सहस्रिणो दुरो न वाजं श्रुत्या अपा वृधि । प्राची द्यावापृथिवी ब्रह्मणा कृधि स्वर्ण शुक्रमुषसो वि दिद्युतः ॥
dā́ no agne bṛható dā́ḥ sahasríṇo duró ná vā́jaṃ śrutyā́ apā́ vṛdhi | prācī́ dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ bráhmaṇā kṛdhi svàrṇá śukrám uṣásaḥ ví didyutuḥ ||
与えたまえ、アグニ（Agni）よ、広大なるものを；千倍の豊穣を与えたまえ。力の充溢へ至る門を、門扉を開くがごとく、われらの聴聞のために開きひろげよ。ブラフマン（brahman：聖なる言） の力によって、天と地をわれらに向けて整えよ。太陽みずからの輝く黄金のように、ウシャス（Uṣas：暁の女神）らが清らかな光彩を閃かせよ。
