परि त्वाग्ने पुरं वयं विप्रं सहस्य धीमहि । धृषद्वर्णं दिवेदिवे हन्तारं भङ्गुरावताम् ॥

pari tvāgne puraṃ vayaṃ vipraṃ sahasya dhīmahi | dhṛṣadvarṇaṃ divedive hantāraṃ bhaṅgurāvatām ||

アグニよ、われらは汝のまわりに、あたかも堅固な城を築く。霊感ある強き者なる汝のまわりに、われらの思念を据える。日ごとにわれらは汝を保つ――猛き炎光の、破壊し乱す者どもを討つ殺戮者として。
