अदो यद्दारु प्लवते सिन्धोः पारे अपूरुषम् । तदा रभस्व दुर्हणो तेन गच्छ परस्तरम् ॥
Transliteration
adó yád dā́ru plávate síndhoḥ pāré apūruṣám | tádā́ rabhásva durháno téna gáccha parastarám ||
Translation
かの川の彼方の岸に、はるかに漂う一本の木、いまだ人の触れぬもの――難殺の者よ、それをつかめ。それによって渡り越え、さらに向こうの彼岸へ行け。
