सप्तनवतितमः सर्गः (Yuddha Kāṇḍa 97): Sugrīva’s Onslaught and the Fall of Virūpākṣa
तथातुतौसंम्यतिसम्प्रयुक्तौ ।तरस्विनौवानरराक्षसानाम् ।।।।
tathā tutau saṃmyati samprayuktau |
tarasvinau vānararākṣasānām ||
かくして、接近戦のただ中で、ヴァーナラとラークシャサの強大な軍勢は相まみえ、激しく衝突した。
All the leaders of the army themselves seizing hold of huge mountains and trees of several kinds followed his side.
Dharma in epic warfare is framed as decisive engagement against adharma: conflict is not celebrated, but presented as an unavoidable meeting of opposed moral forces.
