मकराक्षवधः
The Slaying of Makarākṣa
जीमूतयोरिवाकाशेशब्दोज्यातलयोस्तदा ।धनुर्मुक्तःस्वनोत्कृष्टश्श्रूयते च रणाजिरे ।।।।
jīmūtayor ivākāśe śabdo jyātalayos tadā |
dhanur-muktaḥ svanotkṛṣṭaḥ śrūyate ca raṇājire ||
そのとき戦場では、手と弦より放たれた弓の張りつめた響きが、雲の雷鳴のごとく大空に轟き渡った。
Then the sound released by the friction of the bowstring and the hand (of the two heroes) filled the sky like thunder of clouds.
