tad yuddham abhavat tatra sametyānyonyam ojasā |

khara-rākṣasa-putrasya sūnor daśarathasya ca ||

Translation

その場で両者が相まみえるや、猛き力をもって激戦が起こった。すなわち、カラなる羅刹の子と、ダシャラタの子との間に。
