The Slaying of Atikāya

奇しき姿の武器どもをことごとく空しくし、火のごとく燃えるその矢は、冠を戴くアティカー ヤの首をつかみ取り、奪い去った。
This great arrow of Lakshmana glowing like fire rendered the weapons in wonderful shapes released by Atikaya unsuccessful and severed the head of Atikaya decked with a crown.
In a dharmic war, unjust power and intimidation (even when splendidly armed) ultimately fail before righteous resolve and rightful force.
Lakṣmaṇa’s blazing arrow nullifies Atikāya’s counterattacks and decisively severs his crowned head.
Lakṣmaṇa’s effectiveness and steadfastness—decisive action aligned with the larger righteous aim of the campaign.
