यथाऽसौसम्प्रहृष्टानांवानराणांसमुत्थितः ।बहूनांसुमहान्नादोमेघनामिवगर्जिताम् ।।6.51.3।।व्यक्तंसुमहतीप्रीतिरेतेषांनात्रसंशयः ।तथाहिविपुलैर्नादैश्चुक्षुभेवरुणालयः ।।6.51.4।।

Transliteration

yathā 'sau samprahṛṣṭānāṃ vānarāṇāṃ samutthitaḥ |

bahūnāṃ sumahān nādo meghānām iva garjitām ||6.51.3||

vyaktaṃ sumahatī prītir eteṣāṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ |

tathā hi vipulair nādaiś cukṣubhe varuṇālayaḥ ||6.51.4||

Translation

歓喜に満ちた多くのヴァーナラから、轟く雲の雷鳴のような、はなはだ大いなる咆哮が湧き上がった。そのことから、彼らの喜びが甚大であるのは疑いなかった。実に、その広大な叫びによって、ヴァルナの住まいである大海さえ揺り動かされた。
