Viewing Laṅkā and its Forest-Gardens
समसौम्यानिरम्याणिविशालान्यायतानिच ।दृष्टिरम्याणितेदृष्टवाबभूवुर्जातविस्मयाः ।।6.39.2।।
sama-saumyāni ramyāṇi viśālāny āyatāni ca |
dṛṣṭi-ramyāṇi te dṛṣṭvā babhūvur jāta-vismayāḥ ||6.39.2||
平らで穏やかに美しく、広く遠くまで伸び、目に心地よいその地を見て、彼らは驚嘆に満たされた。
Trikuta peak was fully covered with flowers, sparkled with gold, spread over a hundred yojanas, beautiful to look at, splendid and smooth. It is difficult even for birds to reach, for sages even in thought and difficult to access by any physical action. It is praiseworthy as if touching the sky alone.
Dharma includes attentive perception and gratitude: the ability to recognize beauty and order in the world even amid a righteous struggle.
As the Vānara forces move through the region, they behold expansive and pleasing landscapes and react with amazement.
Saumyatā (receptive calm) alongside readiness—an army that can admire beauty without losing purpose.
