あちらこちらで武装した歩兵が備えを整えて群れ集い、王の大路は驚くべき姿の軍勢で満ちる——疾く進み、轟きわめくさまは、奔流を受けて膨れ上がる大海のごとし。
"See the weird appearance of footsoldiers collected here and therein groups prepared to go. The royal path is filled with choking sounds of the troops moving fast, like an ocean filled with streams of water. It is strange."
Collective action has moral weight: the same organization and force can serve dharma or adharma; the Ramayana invites judgment by the cause served—truth and justice versus oppression.
Saramā describes Laṅkā’s streets and royal roads filling with armed infantry and roaring troops as the city mobilizes for war.
Strategic awareness—Saramā observes and communicates the scale of mobilization, helping Sītā understand the turning point in events.
