rākṣasānāṃ vadhe sāhyaṃ laṅkāyāś ca pradharṣaṇe | kariṣyāmi yathā-prāṇaṃ pravekṣyāmi ca vāhinīm ||6.19.23||

「羅刹らを討つこと、そしてランカーを攻め破ることに、我は命の力を尽くして助力し、軍勢が入り込むのを支えよう。」
