Transliteration

tataḥ prītimān rāmaḥ śrutvaivam vadatāṁ varaḥ |

dadhyau muhūrtaṁ dharmātmā bāṣpa-vyākula-locanaḥ ||

Translation

そのとき、法を守るラーマ――語りの最勝者――はその言葉を聞いて内に喜んだ。だが涙にかすむ眼で、しばし思いを巡らせた。
