By the hail of arrows from the bow of great soul Rama scattered, Ravana and his ministers ran from there out of fear like the clouds chased by the gale.৷৷ ইত্যার্ষেবাল্মীকীযেশ্রীমদ্রামাযণেআদিকাব্যেযুদ্ধকাণ্ডেএকোত্তরশততমস্সর্গঃ ৷৷This is the end of one hundred one sarga of Yuddha Kanda of the first epic the holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.
A key dharmic warning: anger (krodha) distorts judgment. Rāvaṇa escalates from rage, contrasting with the ideal of restrained, principled action.
After Rāma counters an earlier weapon, Rāvaṇa responds by deploying a powerful celestial missile associated with the Sun.
Rāma’s steadiness is implied through his successful neutralization; Rāvaṇa’s lack of self-control is highlighted by krodha.
