सर्वेषामेव पर्याप्तो राक्षसानामहं युधि।।5.53.13।।किंतु रामस्य प्रीत्यर्थं विषहिष्येऽहमीदृशम्।लङ्का चारयितव्या वै पुनरेव भवेदिति।।5.53.14।।

Transliteration

sarveṣām eva paryāpto rākṣasānām ahaṁ yudhi | kiṁtu rāmasya prītyarthaṁ viṣahiṣye ’ham īdṛśam ||5.53.13||

Translation

戦場においては、これらすべての羅刹に対して我ひとりで十分である。だがラーマの御心を喜ばせるため、このような辱めも耐え忍ぼう。
