槌、斧、三叉戟、槍、返しのある投げ矢や投槍を手に、彼らはたちまちハヌマーンを取り囲み、目前に立ちはだかった。
They quickly surrounded Hanuman and stood with hammers, sharp-edged spears, tridents, barbed missiles and powerful javelins.
The verse highlights the dharmic ideal of steadfastness when encircled by threats: one should not abandon truth and duty merely because intimidation is overwhelming.
The Kiṅkaras form a tight armed ring around Hanumān, confronting him at close quarters to seize him.
Hanumān’s abhaya (fearlessness) and unwavering commitment to his mission for Rāma and Sītā.
