Visvamitra grants refuge; the curse upon Vasishta’s sons
श्रुत्वा ते वचनं सर्वे समायान्ति द्विजातय:।सर्वदेशेषु चागच्छन् वर्जयित्वा महोदयम्।।1.59.11।।
śrutvā te vacanaṃ sarve samāyānti dvijātayaḥ |
sarvadeśeṣu cāgacchan varjayitvā mahodayam ||
あなたの使いを聞いて、すべての二度生まれ(ドヴィジャ)たちが参集しております。諸国のあらゆる地から来ましたが、マホーダヤだけは除かれます。
Having heard your words, all brahmins except Mahodaya have arrived from all countries.
