The Gift of the Sandals and Delegated Kingship
आगता त्वामियं बुद्धिस्स्वजा वैनयिकी च या।भृशमुत्सहसे तात रक्षितुं पृथिवीमपि।।2.112.16।।
āgatā tvām iyaṃ buddhis svajā vainayikī ca yā | bhṛśam utsahase tāta rakṣituṃ pṛthivīm api || 2.112.16 ||
愛しい子よ、この知恵は汝に備わった——生まれつきのものにして、修養によって磨かれたものだ。それゆえ汝は、大地をさえ守護し得るほどに十分な力を持つ。
After due consultation with ministers, friends, counsellors and prudent persons, accomplish all tasks, however formidable they may appear.
