Glory of Puruṣottama: Pañcatīrthī Observance and Narasiṃha Worship
असाध्यं तस्य देवस्य नास्त्यत्र सचराचरे । नरसिंहस्य सुभगे सदा भक्तानुकंपिन ॥ ८५ ॥
asādhyaṃ tasya devasya nāstyatra sacarācare | narasiṃhasya subhage sadā bhaktānukaṃpina || 85 ||
おお幸いなる者よ、この動くものと動かぬものから成る全宇宙において、あの神——常に भक्त(信徒)を憐れむナーラシンハ——に不可能はない。
Narada (instructional narration within the Uttara-Bhaga’s Mahatmya context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It affirms Narasiṁha’s omnipotence across all existence (sacarācara) and highlights His defining trait in devotion—constant mercy toward bhaktas—making divine help accessible through sincere surrender.
Bhakti is presented as the relationship that invokes the Lord’s anukampā (compassion). The verse implies that when one approaches Narasiṁha as a devotee, no obstacle remains “impossible” because grace becomes the decisive power.
No specific Vedāṅga (Śikṣā, Vyākaraṇa, Chandas, Nirukta, Jyotiṣa, Kalpa) is taught directly here; the practical takeaway is devotional application—using stuti (praise) and smaraṇa (remembrance) as a lived discipline aligned with Purāṇic dharma.
