FAQs

The verse frames a “highest boon” as inclusive grace—seeking divine favor not merely for oneself, but extending it to multiple orders of beings, reflecting the Purāṇic ideal of expansive, welfare-oriented devotion.

Bhakti is shown as relational and grace-centered: the devotee addresses the Lord as nātha, acknowledges divine pleasure (prīti), and asks for a boon rooted in compassion and universality rather than private gain.

No specific Vedāṅga technicality (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa ritual procedure) is taught in this verse; it functions primarily as a devotional petition within a Mahātmya-style narrative.
