It highlights dāna and sacred construction as a means of accruing puṇya in a tīrtha setting—if a grand offering (vimāna) is declined, an alternative meritorious gift (golden pillars) is prescribed.
Bhakti is expressed here through tangible seva—supporting sacred spaces and beautifying them for worship; devotion becomes actionable through offerings that honor the deity and the tīrtha.
Primarily kalpa (ritual procedure) in the broader Vedāṅga sense—guidance on acceptable substitute offerings and the ritual logic of dāna within tīrtha-mahātmya practice.
