Saṅdhyā-ādi Nitya-karma-Vidhi

akrūra āsyayā yukto mahāseno vidyayā yutaḥ | krodhīśaśca mahākālyā caṇḍeśena sarasvatī || 110 ||
Narada (in a didactic listing within Book 1.3’s technical/vedāṅga-oriented material, framed in the Narada–Sanatkumāra dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents a structured mapping of specific beings/deities to particular energies or presiding powers, reflecting how Purāṇic tradition organizes divine functions for contemplation and ritual application.
Bhakti here is supported by correct recognition of divine roles—honoring Sarasvatī for learning and Mahāsena for empowered capability—so devotion becomes informed, focused, and aligned with the intended deity-function.
The verse reflects devatā-nirdeśa used in technical practice—helpful for mantra application, ritual invocation, and structured remembrance (smaraṇa) that often accompanies śikṣā/vyākaraṇa-led recitation disciplines.
