婆羅門が縛られ囚われるとき、争いが激しく増長するとき、夕暮れに雲が轟くとき、そして季節外れの雨が降るとき—これらは不吉な徴として知られる。
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It links outer disturbances—social injustice (a brāhmaṇa bound), escalating conflict, and abnormal weather—to inner dharmic imbalance, warning that such times are spiritually and ritually inauspicious.
By identifying disturbed conditions, it implicitly advises devotees to protect sāttvika practice—maintain prayer, japa, and Vishnu-bhakti with restraint and purity when the environment signals disorder.
It reflects applied nimitta/muhūrta thinking (often associated with Jyotiṣa and ritual timing): twilight thunder and out-of-season rain are treated as unfavorable indicators for certain rites and decisions.
