tataḥ prasanno bhagavānkarmaṇā mama mānada | devāvasathasaṃskārasaṃjñitena kṛtena naḥ || 53 ||
その後、誉れを授ける者よ、我らが「神々の住処の浄化・奉献」(devāvasatha-saṃskāra)と呼ばれる儀礼を行ったとき、至福なる主(バガヴァーン)は我が行いを喜ばれた。
Narada (narrating to Sanatkumara / the Kumara sages)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that Bhagavan is pleased when sacred rites (saṃskāras) are performed correctly and with devotion—here, the consecration connected to establishing a divine abode.
Bhakti is expressed through reverent action: serving the Lord by preparing and sanctifying a space for divine presence (deva-āvasatha) becomes an offering that invites grace (prasāda).
It points to Kalpa (ritual procedure) and related saṃskāra-vidhi—how consecratory acts and correct performance of rites are integral to Purāṇic worship practice.
