saṃbhojya viprānmadhurairvisṛjellabdhadakṣiṇān | evaṃ kṛtvā vrataṃ vipra saphalāyā vidhānataḥ || 63 ||
ブラーフマナたちに甘美な供食を施し、定めのダクシナーを授けて、恭しく送り出すべきである。おおブラーフマナよ、このように規定どおりに誓戒(ヴラタ)を行えば、それは実りを得て成就する。
Narada (in instruction to a brāhmaṇa interlocutor, within the Narada–Sanatkumara teaching flow)
Vrata: Saphalā Ekādaśī (continuation of the rite)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that a vow is completed not only by personal austerity but by dharmic closure—honoring brāhmaṇas with food and dakṣiṇā—so the merit becomes properly “sealed” and yields spiritual fruit.
By emphasizing humble service and offering (food, gifts, respectful farewell), it frames devotion as disciplined worship expressed through sattvic conduct and honoring those who uphold sacred learning.
It highlights ritual procedure (kalpa-vidhi): the correct concluding steps of a vrata—brāhmaṇa-bhojana and dakṣiṇā—showing that observances must follow injunctions (vidhi) to be effective.
