Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 5 — Karmaphala-Nirdeśa and Phalāśruti (कर्मफलनिर्देशः फलश्रुतिश्च)
अनागतश्र मोक्षश्न कृष्णद्वैपायन: प्रभु: । संदर्भ भारतस्यास्य कृतवान् धर्मकाम्यया
anāgataśramokṣajñaḥ kṛṣṇadvaipāyanaḥ prabhuḥ | saṃdarbhya bhāratasyāsya kṛtavān dharmakāmyayā ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「来たらんとする艱難からの解脱の道を知る、尊きクリシュナ・ドヴァイパーヤナ（ヴィヤーサ）こそ、ダルマを護り興さんとの願いによって、この『バーラタ』を編み、整えたのである。」
