Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharmic order expressed through reverence: even powerful beings honor a greater presence by offerings and respectful attendance, suggesting that true greatness is acknowledged within a structured cosmic hierarchy rather than asserted through force alone.

A majestic divine figure—described as shining like Kailāsa and adorned in white garlands and unguents—is honored by Soma with attendants and a precious gem, while groups of gods (Rudras, Vasus, Ādityas, and the Aśvins) stand around him in a surrounding retinue.
