महाबला महावेगा महापारिषदास्तथा | अभिषेक कुमारस्य दृष्टवा हृष्टा रणप्रिया:
mahābalā mahāvegā mahāpāriṣadās tathā | abhiṣekaṃ kumārasya dṛṣṭvā hṛṣṭā raṇapriyāḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。彼らは力において強大、突撃において迅速、また集う諸侯の中でも名望高き者であった。戦を好む彼らは、王子の灌頂（アビシェーカ）を目にして歓喜した。この場面は、王権の正統と公の承認が武の熱を煽り、政治の秩序を戦の力動へと結びつけることを示している。
