विक्षिपन् सुमहच्चापं कार्तस्वरविभूषितम् । विसृजन् सायकांश्वैव विषाग्निप्रतिमान् बहून्ू
vikṣipan sumahaccāpaṃ kārtasvaravibhūṣitam | visṛjan sāyakāṃś caiva viṣāgnipratimān bahūn ||
サンジャヤは言った。黄金で飾られた巨大な弓を振るい、引き絞り、彼は毒と火にも似て恐るべき無数の矢を、次々と斉射して戦場に降らせた。怒りに駆られた武の技は、節制ではなく破壊の力となることを、この場面は示している。
