एवं पुरुषशार्दूलो महाबुद्धिर्जनार्दन: । पाण्डवैर्घातयामास जरासंधमरिं तदा,जनमेजय! इस प्रकार महाबुद्धिमान् पुरुषसिंह जनार्दनने उस समय पाण्डवोंद्वारा अपने शत्रु जरासंधका वध करवाया
evaṁ puruṣaśārdūlo mahābuddhir janārdanaḥ | pāṇḍavair ghātayāmāsa jarāsandham ariṁ tadā, janamejaya ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。かくして、ジャナメージャヤよ、人中の獅子にして大いなる智を備えたジャナールダナ・クリシュナは、その時、パーンダヴァらの手によって己が敵ジャラーサンダを討たせたのである。
