तां वृष्टिं सहसा राजन्नुत्थितां घोररूपिणीम् । वारयामास शैनेयो योधयंस्तान् महारथान्,राजन! उन महारथियोंके साथ युद्ध करते हुए शिनिपौत्र सात्यकिने सहसा उठी हुई उस भयंकर बाण-वर्षाको अपने अस्त्रोंद्वारा रोक दिया
tāṁ vṛṣṭiṁ sahasā rājann utthitāṁ ghorarūpiṇīm | vārayāmāsa śaineyo yodhayaṁs tān mahārathān ||
サンジャヤは言った。「大王よ、その恐るべき矢の豪雨がにわかに起こるや、シァイネーヤ・サーティヤキは、かの大神車たちと戦いながらも、自らの武器によって即座にそれを食い止めた。」
संजय उवाच

A fierce, sudden barrage of arrows rises in the battle. Sātyaki (Śaineya), while fighting the opposing great chariot-warriors, counters and blocks that arrow-shower with his own weapons.
