अब्रवीत क्षत्रियांस्तत्र धर्मराजो युधिष्ठिर: । अभिद्रवत संयत्ता: कुम्भयोनिं महारथा:
abravīt kṣatriyāṁs tatra dharmarājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | abhadravata saṁyattāḥ kumbhayoniṁ mahārathāḥ ||
サञ्जयは言った。そこにて、ダルマを支える王ユディシュティラは集まったクシャトリヤの戦士たちに告げた。「全装備で突撃せよ、クンバヨーニ（ドローナ）に向かって！」かくして彼は大車戦の勇士らを前進させ、苛烈な戦の要請の中にあっても、それをダルマに結ばれた義務として命じたのである。
