vartamāne tathā yuddhe ghore devāsuropame

Translation

その凄惨なる戦が進行していた――それは神々と阿修羅の太古の激突にも比すべきものであった――サञ्जयはこの光景を宇宙規模の抗争として描き、戦がかくも極限に達したときの恐るべき激烈さと道義的重みを強調する。
