Adhyāya 141 — Night duels: Śaineya and Bhūriśravas; Droṇi and Ghaṭotkaca; Bhīma and Duryodhana
तयोर्विसृजतोस्तत्र शरजालानि मारिष

サンジャヤは言った。「おお、尊き御方よ。あの二人の戦士がそこで絶えず飛び道具を放ち続けたため、矢の斉射は網のように広がり、戦場を濃く埋め尽くした。」
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the overwhelming intensity of war: when skilled fighters unleash weapons without restraint, violence multiplies and engulfs the field like a net—an implicit reminder of the destructive momentum of conflict.
Sañjaya describes a duel in which two combatants are continuously shooting, producing dense, interlacing volleys of arrows that cover the battlefield.
