Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | parāśareṇa saṃyuktā sadyo garbhaṃ suṣāva sā | jajñe ca yamunādvīpe pārāśaryaḥ sa vīryavān |

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。パラーシャラ仙と結ばれるや、彼女はただちに懐妊し、またたく間に出産した。ヤムナー河の島に、パラーシャラの剛健なる子—パーラーシャリヤ（ヴィヤーサ）が生まれた。
