King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
इति सत्यवती हृष्टा लब्ध्वा वरमनुत्तमम्
iti satyavatī hṛṣṭā labdhvā varam anuttamam | tathā paramarṣiparāśarasya saṃyogaṃ prāpya tatkṣaṇād eva śiśuṃ janayām āsa | yamunāyā dvīpe parāśaranandano vyāsaḥ prādurabhavat mahābalaḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。かくしてサティヤヴァティーは無上の恩寵を得て歓喜し、大聖仙パラーシャラと契り、ただちに一子を産んだ。ヤムナー河の中洲の島に、パラーシャラの子にして剛力のヴィヤーサが顕現した。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
