Draupadī Episode
यश्चायं मन्युजो मेडग्निलोकानादातुमिच्छति । दहेदेष च मामेव निगृहीत: स्वतेजसा
yaścāyaṃ manyujo medhāgnilokān ādātum icchati | dahed eṣa ca mām eva nigṛhītaḥ svatejasā || śāpād dhi śaktir vāsiṣṭha tadā tad upapāditam | ātmajena sa doṣeṇa śaktinīta ito divam ||
アウルヴァは言った。「この火は怒りより生まれ、諸世界を奪い取り包み込もうとしている。もし私がそれを抑えれば、火は私に返り、己が光焔によって私を灰と化すであろう。なぜなら、ヴァシシュタよ、あのときの災厄はまさしくシャクティの呪詛によって招かれたのだ。彼は自らの過失ゆえにこの世を去り天に昇った—この件において羅刹（ラークシャサ）に咎はない。」
