भीमस्य जलान्वेषणं तथा वनविश्रान्तिः

Bhīma’s Search for Water and the Forest Halt

तमुद्यतं रथेनैकमाशुकारिणमाहवे । अनेकमिव संत्रासान्मेनिरे तत्र कौरवा:

tam udyataṁ rathenaikam āśukāriṇam āhave | anekam iva saṁtrāsān menire tatra kauravāḥ ||

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。彼が突進するのを見て—戦車にただ一人、戦場において迅速なる者—その場のクル族は恐怖に呑まれ、彼をまるで幾人にも見なした。ここには、勇気と武芸が一人の威容を増幅する一方、恐慌が目を曇らせ、軍の決意を脆くすることが示されている。
