विहारावसथेष्वेव वीरा वासमरोचयन् । खिन्नस्तु बलवान् भीमो व्यायम्याभ्यधिकं तदा
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: vihārāvasatheṣv eva vīrā vāsam arocayan | khinnas tu balavān bhīmo vyāyamyābhyadhikaṃ tadā ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。日の水遊びと娯楽が終わると、遊び疲れたクル族随一の勇士たちは、清らかな衣と美しい飾りを身につけ、歓楽の楼閣そのものに宿を定めた。だが剛力のビーマは、その時、度を越して力を尽くしたため、とりわけ疲れ果てていた。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights moderation and awareness of human limits: even the strongest can be overcome by excessive exertion, so prudent conduct includes recognizing fatigue and its consequences.
After finishing their day’s recreation (including water-play), the Kuru princes decide to stay overnight in the pleasure pavilions; Bhīma, having overexerted himself, is notably tired.
