Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)
तत्रोपविष्टास्ते सर्वे पाण्डवा: कौरवाश्न ह । उपपन्नान् बहून् कामांस्ते भुज्जन्ति ततस्ततः
tatro'paviṣṭās te sarve pāṇḍavāḥ kauravāś ca ha | upapannān bahūn kāmāṁs te bhuñjanti tatas tataḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。そこへ到着すると、パーンダヴァたちもカウラヴァたちも皆、それぞれ相応の席に着いた。やがて、労せずしてさまざまな饗応と食物が次々と備えられると、彼らは順にそれらの安楽を味わった――内に競り合いを秘めながらも、礼序と同席のもてなしが保たれていたのである。
