बभूव परमो हर्ष: शतशृड्शनिवासिनाम्‌ | तथा देवनिकायानां सेन्द्राणां च दिवौकसाम्‌

Transliteration

babhūva paramo harṣaḥ śataśṛṅganivāsinām | tathā devanikāyānāṃ sendrāṇāṃ ca divaukasām |

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。シャタシュリンガ（Śataśṛṅga）に住まう苦行の仙人たちの間に、至上の歓喜が湧き起こった。同じく、天に住む神々の群れ—インドラをも含めて—の間にも喜びが満ちた。驚くべき天上の宣告を聞き、彼らは宇宙の秩序そのものが確証されたかのように、歓喜に包まれた。
