ākāśe dundubhīnāṃ ca babhūva tumulaḥ svanaḥ | udatīṣṭhan mahāghoṣaḥ puṣpavṛṣṭibhir āvṛtaḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。すると天空に、神々の鼓(デーヴァ・ドゥンドゥビ)の轟くような喧噪が起こった。花の雨が降りそそいで天が覆われる中、力強い歓呼が鳴り響いた—それは、進みゆく出来事に対する天の嘉納と祝賀を示す吉兆であった。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
