Shloka 144

उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

भिन्नभाण्डे च रथ्यायां पतितानां च संनिधौ शूद्रशेषं न भुञ्जीयात् सहान्नं शिशुकैरपि

bhinnabhāṇḍe ca rathyāyāṃ patitānāṃ ca saṃnidhau śūdraśeṣaṃ na bhuñjīyāt sahānnaṃ śiśukairapi

たとえ食があっても、破れた器に置かれたもの、往来の道に置かれたもの、またダルマより堕ちた者の近くにあるものは食すべからず。同様に、シュードラ(Śūdra)の食べ残しを口にしてはならず、そのような食と共に食事してもならない。たとえ子どもが同席していても同じである。
