Cosmic Abodes of Luminaries and the Shaiva Order of Time

बुद्धिपूर्वं भगवता कल्पादौ सम्प्रवर्तितः स आश्रयो ऽभिमानी च सर्वस्य ज्योतिरात्मकः

Transliteration

buddhipūrvaṃ bhagavatā kalpādau sampravartitaḥ sa āśrayo 'bhimānī ca sarvasya jyotirātmakaḥ

Translation

カルパの初めに、福徳なる主はまずブッディ（宇宙的知性）を顕現させた。その後、万有の依り処となり、「我である」という自我性（アビマーナ）を帯び、光明の本質（ジョーティス）として一切に遍満する原理が生起する。
